BOXEADORES DE BCS RUMBO A LA «GUERRA ENTRE FRONTERAS»
Esta tarde, un total de 9 destacados pugilistas de Baja California Sur partieron con destino a la ciudad de Mexicali, Baja California. Han sido seleccionados para formar parte del equipo que representará a México en el torneo conocido como la «Guerra Entre Fronteras,» programado del 19 al 22 de octubre en la ciudad fronteriza. En este evento, estos talentosos atletas enfrentarán a boxeadores de los Estados Unidos.
Entre los pugilistas que integran esta delegación, se encuentran William D. Rivera, compitiendo en la categoría infantil mayor, en la división de los 48 kilos; Tirzon A. Feliz, quien competirá en la categoría de los 52 kilos; Fidel A. de Jesús S., quien se destacará en la división de los 60 kilos; Antonio V. Martínez, en la categoría de los 70 kilos; y Fernando T. Márquez, en la división de más de 80 kilogramos. Asimismo, en la categoría juvenil, figuran Jesús A. Castillo, con un peso de 67 kilos; Emiliano Reducindo Aguayo, en la categoría de los 80 kilos, y José Francisco Romero, en la división de los 92 kilogramos.
La Asociación de Boxeo en el estado de Baja California Sur solicitó el apoyo del Instituto Sudcaliforniano del Deporte para facilitar la participación de los pugilistas sudcalifornianos y sus entrenadores, José Antonio Salas, Juan de Dios Flores Zumaya y Félix Pérez Miranda, en este torneo internacional.
Este evento proporcionará el fogueo necesario que estos jóvenes deportistas requieren para enfrentar los desafíos venideros con éxito. La representación de BCS en la «Guerra Entre Fronteras» promete ser una experiencia invaluable para el desarrollo y crecimiento de estos talentosos boxeadores.
