Va Armando Andrade por sus cuartos juegos Parapanamericanos
El destacado nadador sudcaliforniano, Luis Armando Andrade Guillén viajó a la ciudad de México en compañía de su entrenador, Linton Fritz Navarro Holm, con el objetivo de llevar a cabo los últimos ajustes de su preparación rumbo a los Juegos Parapanamericanos de Santiago 2023.
El joven paratleta, quien cuenta con una destacada trayectoria deportiva, se prepara para vivir su cuarta edición panamericana. Andrade compartió su emoción por representar a México una vez más en esta competencia tan importante y manifestó su deseo de obtener 5 medallas, una meta que ha logrado en eventos anteriores.
Del mismo modo, comentó que la competencia no será fácil, ya que se enfrentará a nuevos talentos y el nivel de los deportistas ha aumentado. Sin embargo, el sudcaliforniano ve esto como un desafío y un plus, señalando que competir con atletas de alto nivel deportivo lo motivan a dar lo mejor de sí.
Respecto a la posibilidad de obtener un lugar para los próximos Juegos Paralímpicos, el nadador sudcaliforniano expresó ciertas dudas debido a que aún no se confirma si este evento otorgará lugares olímpicos. No obstante, destacó que el próximo año tendrá la oportunidad de participar en series mundiales que serán tomadas en cuenta como parte del proceso clasificatorio.
Finalmente, de acuerdo al calendario deportivo Luis Armando estará representando a México del 18 al 24 de noviembre, donde buscará subir al podio de los campeones y poner la bandera de México en lo más alto.
